UZZI

UZZI is a very rare bear indeed! He is a one-off 11.5” [29cm] prototype of bears made by Beryl Chapple, when she first started making her very special bears in the summer of 1995. Filled with woodwool and glass pellets and covered in short plush cinnamon/pink mohair. He has black glass eyes, black twist thread nose, mouth and claw stitching, close shaven muzzle and grey chamois felt pads. He also sports Beryl’s ‘trade-mark’ solid silver [20 grams] hallmarked collar, together with his ‘Uzzi’ name tag [also hallmarked]. A unique and highly desirable, collectable teddy.
